The Galvan Torque large arbor fly reel is the jewel in the crown of the Galvan family of reels. Carrying a manufacturer recommended retail price of between $300-$500 this is not usually a reel for the faint of heart, however, if you are not on a budget then it is difficult to find a better reel than this one.
It has a large arbor design, and is machined from 6061 barstock aluminum.
The extremely smooth and strong drag system is constructed from stainless steel, a self-lubricating HPV bushing, and Ertalyte - a high-tech space-age thermoplastic material that is both heat resistant and wear resistant.
It is fully suitable for both fresh and saltwater fishing environments.
