Manufactured from stainless steel it has a precision machined spool shaft. The model 5/6 and 7/8 have multi-disk Rulidium drag washers, while the 8/9 and 10/11 have multi-disk cork drag washers.
All of the reels in this series have a roller bearing drag system which engages in the one direction only.
