The Redington Rise fly reel makes an excellent addition to any fly fishermans "tool box."
It is a mid-arbor reel that is originally based in the older CV series, but has now been made both lighter and stronger. The reel is constructed from anodised 6061 T6 aluminum, and incorporates a cork on Teflon center disk drag.
A nice addition to this design is the use of ceramic coated bearings, which greatly enhance the durability and the smoothness.
This reel has been designed for use in both a fresh and a salt water environment.
